The Safe Travels Pouch helps us recognize that there is more in our experiences than what can be readily identified. Each pouch is an original art piece; hand painted and sewn featuring hand carved symbols.
What is this all about?
Your sense of connection to beliefs, sometimes myth and folklore drives how you respond to situations. Every day the curious traveler draws on their beliefs to appreciate, understand and respect new points of view and ways of life.
Perhaps your traveler’s peace of mind is set, your beliefs, spirit and heart may have already guided you to your special amulets, stones, charms and symbols that represent that peace. Use the pouch as your private place where they can remain with you and be respected.
For those who are open to finding a sense of peace especially when traveling, the pouch holds three interrelated symbols. Each symbol is about an appreciation and understanding of safe travels. The beliefs these symbols represent are what brings safe travels to life. They are not used here in affiliation with any religious tradition but as reminders of the mystical power that underlies beliefs.

Shinto has always been putting the power of the gods in small packets or on wood symbols believing it would bring protection to its owner. Shinto values of respect for nature and oneself emphasizes harmony and connection to your surroundings. The symbol has been painted with the kanji characters for travel safety.
A connection to your surroundings is paramount to safe travelers.
From the eagle to the smallest sparrow, the feather symbol is the bridge between the spirit and physical worlds. The feather reminds the traveler of your ability to take yourself wherever you need to be.
The feather provides direction when following your own path and embodies trust, honor, strength, wisdom, power and freedom—your safe travels guidance.
